This very good condition antique Oushak shows an open array of ragged palmettes – up, down, lazy and slanted – partially connected by short, angular vinery and accented with yellow, rust-brown, ecru and light green, on the sandy cream field, with a main border of ragged palmettes and cloud band elements. The eccentric, unbalanced pattern makes this Oushak particularly charming while the palette is just light enough for current tastes.
