This low pile piece has a pattern repeat of four leaves springing from a central rosette, making a segment of a lozenge lattice, on an off white ground. The red border has copied the #Caucasian chalice and slant leaf #design accurately. The yellow outer border with an undulating design is more Persian. This long rug is a particularly colorful example of a desirable type.
