19th Century N.W. Persian Bakshaiesh Carpet
The light rust madder ground displays alternating rows of three larger and four slightly smaller botehs with internal herringbone plant motives and facing in opposite directions. Camel-tone corner abrashed main border in the Caucasian style of slanted serrated leaves and calyxes, with added rosettes. Teal blue minors. Good condition..
