1930s French Art Deco Carpet
This is an extremely attractive example of neoclassic or Empire French Art Deco with its broad blue cruciform sub field enclosing a red lozenge medallion and sunflower and tulip surrounding motives. The effect is wholly modern, but it is completely sympathetic to post Louis French furniture.
